SHaring good times with great food

About us

Greg & Julie Escalante

We are a Catering Company, a Food Truck, and a Market Place Eatery

10/08/1988 – Mark 10:2-12: Jesus said to the Pharisees, “God made them male and female. For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother, and the two shall become as one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, no man must separate…”

I believe that GOD, the Father Almighty put Julie and me together – we met on a blind date set up by a friend of the Escalante Family (Joe Kirk). We went on a fun date to the Doo Dah Parade (Google it, it’s crazy) to participate. During the parade I think I had a little too much beer so most of my family let Julie know “it was nice meeting/knowing you, we’ll probably never see you again!!!” Now 30 years later we are still enjoying each other. Trevor, Amanda, & Shannon now complete our family. In the next year or so we will add one more to our family – Amanda’s fiancé Tim. Over the past 30 years we put into practice what was taught from our parents. We taught High School Religion in Wasco, CA and then after moving to Colorado, we picked up working with the High School Youth at St. Francis of Assisi in Castle Rock. Julie and I worked as the youth directors in Castle Rock for twelve years. During those years we directed many fun fundraising breakfasts and dinners (doing what our parents taught us).  We met many great families during those twelve years and were able to partake in many important milestones for these families by catering their graduation parties, wedding receptions and rehearsals, retirement parties, etc. Our passion for GOD then changed to GOD and food.

We went into business with our catering skills -  enter Lante Brau-Casa in July of 2015. We have had a great time catering and vending for the people of Castle Rock and surrounding areas. We have enjoyed vending at MaddiePalooza, Castle Rock Oktoberfest, Castle Rock Car Shows, First Friday events for Castle Rock, and the various concerts at the beautiful MAC! We enjoy catering for the Lone Tree Arts Center and for the many people we now consider friends.

Within our family we work to put GOD first and then we work to share our food with great family & friends. We recently purchased a food trailer and are working at getting it perfect to serve all of you. We look forward to your visits – this web site will let you know what’s cooking.

God Bless!
